Billing
All AccountEdge subscriptions are billed monthly in USD — including for Canadian customers. Pro and Network Edition are desktop software on a subscription: the application lives on your computer, but it checks in with AccountEdge's servers once every 30 days to confirm your subscription is active. If it can't connect within that window, there's a 7-day grace period before the software switches to read-only mode.
The 30-day free trial
Every plan starts with a fully functional 30-day free trial — nothing is locked or limited. Your company file converts in place when you subscribe, so the setup work you do during the trial isn't wasted.
What happens if you cancel
You can cancel anytime. Your software switches to read-only mode — you can still view your data and run reports, but you can't enter new transactions. Your file stays intact, and you can re-subscribe anytime to pick up where you left off.
