AccountEdge is in Read-Only Mode

Read-Only Preference was Set

If the read-only preference was checked off manually, you can go to Setup > Preferences > Security and uncheck this option.

Note: If this checkbox is disabled, your AccountEdge Subscription has expired or is no longer active.

AccountEdge Subscription Expired

AccountEdge Pro and AccountEdge Network Edition will revert to read-only mode if your AccountEdge subscription expires past the grace period. The read-only setting cannot be removed until you update or reactivate your AccountEdge subscription.

To check your AccountEdge subscription:

  • Open AccountEdge
  • Go to the Help menu
  • Select Registration
  • Click Log In
