AccountEdge has an item price level structure to provide item pricing by customer status and quantity sold. To configure and use price levels and quantity discounts in sales
Name the Price Levels
Select Lists > Custom Lists & Field Names > Price Levels
Enter names for the price levels; these names will appear in the Selling Details of the Item Information window
Click OK
Specify Price Levels, Quantity Breaks, and Prices for Items
Select Lists > Items to open the Items List window
Select an item and click Edit
Click the Selling Details tab
Indicate the Base Selling price of this item
If applicable, enter an over quantity value to expose the next set of pricing levels
Continue to enter up to five quantity breaks and assign up to six price levels
Assign Price Levels to Customers
Select Lists > Cards > Customer Cards
Select the Selling Details tab
In the Item Price Level field, indicate the price level you wish to associate with this customer
This price level and associated quantity breaks, if any, will be used to determine the item sale price for this customer
Import Price Levels, Quantity Breaks and Prices
Price Levels, Quantity Breaks and Prices can also be imported to set and update one or all the inventory items in one operation. During import, you can set AccountEdge to reject or update duplicate entries. The latter would be used to update items already existing in inventory. An item list can be exported to a comma-separated file, and imported into a spreadsheet for updates. The results can be exported to a comma-separated file and imported into AccountEdge to update the Price Levels, Quantity Breaks and Prices.
