This error typically occurs when sending a report to Excel using AccountEdge for Mac's OfficeLink feature. Before Excel opens, the user receives the following error message:
I/O Error 48 in Reset Routine, Unable to Rename the File
The problem is resolved by changing the permissions on the OfficeLink folder within the AccountEdge folder to Read & Write for all groups.
To Change Permissions on This Folder (Mac only)
Close your AccountEdge program, open your AccountEdge folder on your computer's Hard Drive.
Highlight the OfficeLink folder and go to File > Get Info
Open Ownership and Permissions
Make sure Owner and Group all have Read/Write permission
